Chop up your sample by adding markers, or start and end points. If you detect any loud spikes in volume, use the volume editor described in step 8 to dip it. I'd implement it into my active workflow if it had a way to import samples, but alas I had to delete it because I found it mostly unused. To boost the entire sample at once, hit Ctrl+N, which normalises the audio. Using the C Major scale as an example, each different chord type is sent to a different MIDI channel, with notes to turn into major chords sent to channel 1, minor chords sent to channel 2, etc. Go back to the wave editor and time stretch each section to 02.526 seconds. in this case, at 95 BPM each bar is 02.526 seconds long. We go back to the DAW and work out exactly how long each 1 bar should be. Since MPC pads are built around banks you can jump up/down banks to get to other octaves quickly. SO we pull of each section into its own window/area, so we have 4 seperate 1 bar loops now. Scales: you can assign any scale in any key starting from any octave.

Anyway, iMaschine 2 was pretty fun and has got to be one of the best MPC style apps I've used on iOS. We begin with a template created for a previous tutorial, How to Play Instruments in Key and Scale in Maschine (download available at the link). In this initial version pad perform mode allows you to assign, scales, stacked chords, chromatic chords and progressions to the pads. The lack of any same device sample import in a paid music app these days is pretty appalling. If they simply implemented audiopaste instead of using the slow arduous itunes file share, most of the features people desire would become mostly irrelevant since a lot of us already have preferred sampler/slicer apps for getting the sounds we'd like to import into iMaschine 2.
I would be okay with this argument if it weren't a paid app. the new mpcs live and x explode tracks, and freeze samples on a per pad basis. Iono, it has a lot of potential and leaves a lot more to be desired in form of audiopaste or audioshare, output in audiobus, and maybe even midi. automate tempo, time signature, and record mutes, also they allow you to assign whatever midi note you want to a pad, and have midi merge feature which also my maschine cannot do.

I agree, as long a they tell people it sucks from the beginning then it doesn't really suck, everyone should understand that so there will be no missing the point further.
